Panagiotis Tsilingiris is a doctoral researcher in the Laboratory for Maritime Transport at NTUA. He holds a diploma (B.Eng./M.Eng.) in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering with an emphasis on Marine Systems Management from NTUA, a M.Eng. degree from the MIT/Zaragoza International Logistics Program, and a respective Certificate from MIT for the successful completion of the program. He has also been a visiting graduate student at the MIT Engineering Systems Division.

Mr. Tsilingiris’ principal research interests are: liner shipping planning problems, intermodal logistics, and applied operations research. The publications of Mr. Tsilingiris belong to the scientific area of ocean container carriers distribution logistics, while he has acted as an ad hoc referee for various papers. Mr. Tsilingiris speaks Greek (mother tongue), English (proficient), German (very well) and Spanish (elementary). Apart from his academic experience, he has worked as a Naval Architect at Blohm+Voss GmbH in Hamburg, Germany.
